2013. My busiest year by a considerable margin, and what a great year it was.
I shot my first paid wedding in 2009 and started to take booking some time in 2008. My goal when I started was to be able to make shooting weddings a full time job, and to do this I estimated I’d need around 20 weddings per year. In 2013 I hit 20 for the first time which was a big milestone in my career. Its so nice being able to make a living from a job you enjoy so much I feel incredibly lucky and privileged to be able to do this.
I’ve been to lots of old favourite Devon, Cornwall & Plymouth venues and some new. Including, Langdon Court, Crownhill Fort, The Salutation Inn, Dartmouth, Churston Station, St Elizabeths House Hotel, Shilstone House And Palhawn Fort to name but a few.
I’d like to thank all the couples I’ve worked with this year and for trusting me with their once in a lifetime day. I’d also like to thank all of the 2014 couples who have been so complimentary about my work and have decided to book me for their day. 2014 is looking busier than ever.
Below are my personal favourites from the past 12 months, choosing from around 10,000 photos was very hard to whittle down so these are but a few.
Thanks for reading, Huge congratulations to all my 2013 couples and heres to 2014.
