Back in February I was luck enough to be asked to cover a wedding at the Moorland Gardens Hotel, Yelverton, Plymouth for Sarah & Arron.

The day started at Aaron & Sarah’s home which i was passing on my way to the Moorland Gardens Hotel, so stopped off to see how the Gents were getting on with their preparations. When I arrived the boys were still eating breakfast and just starting to think about getting dressed so I spent a few mins with them capturing some of the nervous moments before they left the house.

I then made my way up to Yelverton near Tavistock to meet with Sarah and the rest of the bridal party. Sarah was just having the finishing touches applied to her make up and was almost ready to begin getting into her dress. I think she was very relived to see a little dry weather as the day before had been terrible and had it continued there were doubts as to if some guests would be able to make it through the storm covered roads.

After the bridal preparation we went on to St Mary the Virgin church at Bickleigh, Plymouth  for the ceremony and a very welcome few hours of sunshine followed,
