Zoe & Lee – Duke Of Cornwall & Plymouth Hoe Wedding Photography

Back in June both myself and Anna were lucky enough to be asked to photograph Zoe & Lee’s wedding in Plymouth. Having Anna along with me gives me another set of eyes and the couple another set of photos. Although not essential, (i’m more than happy and capable of covering a wedding alone)  it defiantly does add value to the over all body of work from the day.

The Day started with the bridal prep at Zoe and Lee’s house in Plymouth, where we photographed all of the details and tried to get a sense of the atmosphere and how everyone was feeling. Once we had a said hello, got a few photographs of the wedding shoes, bouquets and a few make up and hair photographs we went up the road to get some Groom preparation photographs. It always nice to get a few of the Grooms men. Often we dont have the opportunity because of the distance between the couple and an often tight time scale. We got some photos of the boys getting ready and then some individual portraits of them all. Both me and anna then went back to Zoes for the shots off her putting on her dress and some portrait of all the bridal party.

We then went to the church In the St Judes area of Plymouth for the ceremony, Zoe looked stunning arriving in her vintage car, and didn’t disappoint the eagerly awaiting congregation.

After the Ceremony we went to the Duke Of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth City Centre which was a brilliant spot to take advantage of the stunnig views and famous landmarks on the Hoe. We were keen to get some photos next to Smeatons Tower. It can be tricky for a photographer in such a busy and popular area of the city but I think we succeeded in capturing an intimate feeling at several off the key spots.

Thanks Again to Zoe & Lee and thanks for letting us be a apart of your Special day

Thanks for looking

Paul

Great set Paul, you have really captured the emotion and I love the use of negative space in the last one.

Really nice work here Paul. Love the mirror shot at the start, and the colour of the cravattes hanging up next to the bouquet shot.

Fantastic images Paul. That lighthouse photo on a canvas will look amazing. Don’t know how you could concentrate on your camera with that many stunning looking women around.
